Join us for our first ever Virtual Hawaiian Fundraiser! It’s going to be a night of games and giving as we raise funds to support the vital work our Rotary Club does in the community, such as weekly food for at-risk youth, dictionaries to 3rd graders, help for seniors, a luncheon for Veterans, scholarships for high school seniors and so much more.

Lunch is on Rotary!
With so many service and hospitality businesses suffering the effects of shelter-in-place and so many of their workers laid off or furloughed, now is the perfect time for Rotary to turn the tables and help serve the people who normally serve us! The Santa Rosa Rotary Clubs have partnered to purchase box lunches from local restaurants and distribute them every Saturday to hospitality and service workers and their families at a safe drive-thru in Santa Rosa.
Funding comes from an initial grant from the Rotary Clubs and corporate sponsorships from Sonoma Clean Power, St Joseph Health, McDonald-Leavitt Insurance, Summit State Bank and Signarama (Santa Rosa).
There is a GoFundMe set up where anyone can contribute
If you prefer to use a check, send it to:

Face shields for Sutter in Sonoma County
On April 13th, our very own Julie Montgomery, owner of Kindred Fair Trade in downtown Santa Rosa, started a GoFundMe campaign for the purchase of face shields to be donated to Sutter Hospital and their clinics in Sonoma County. Thanks to the generous support of the community, the goal of raising $1,800 for 550 masks was achieved on April 21st. Thank you to everyone who contributed to help ensure the front line medical workers in our county continue to be safe!
The face shields were manufactured by one of the Julie’s suppliers, Woodchuck USA, of Minnesota. When the pandemic hit, they transitioned from making wooden gifts to manufacturing face shields. To learn more about Woodchuck USA’s journey to producing the masks, watch their YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIiZI9lP7G8.
The face shields arrived in Santa Rosa on April 28th and were distributed. Additionally, Sonoma Valley Hospital was added as a recipient of face shields. If you have any questions, please contact Julie at email@example.com. Be well, everyone!
